#963 of Year 4 Kree-O Battleship

Gah, I hate not having time to blog.  Anyways, it's March, and before it's over, I thought I'd do at least one post for Mechanical March and what better toy to do that than Kree-O!

#961 of Year 4 Lego 30101 Friends Skateboarder

It's Female/Friends February, and the month is more than halfway through.  Here's a polybag from way back, my first Friends polybag actually.

#961a of Year 4 Lego 850596 Heartlake City Playmat

February at Toy a Day has traditionally focused on females, and toys for the fairer gender.  This year it's just gonna focus on Lego Friends.

Lego Friends are a group of five girls/ladies (I'm not quite sure) - Mia, Emma, Andrea, Olivia and Stephanie who live in Heartlake City.  They do interesting stuff together and with their friends.  The population of Heartlake City seems to be over 90% female...

Today's post is just a playmat for the city.

The box is huge, and mine's a bit dented at the corners.  Oh well.

#960 of Year 4 Lego 6873 Superheroes Spider-Man's Doc Ock Ambush

I actually opened this a while ago, but thought it would be nice to complete the circle this month by coming back to Spiderman, which kick-started us off on our journey this month.

#959 of Year 4 Lego 10937 Superheroes Batman: Arkham Asylum Breakout

This isn't the first Batman Arkham Asylum to be rendered into an official Lego set, but it's probably one of the more iconic sets from the last couple of years.  The architecture of the building, despite being just a fascade is awesome, but I'm getting ahead of myself.

#958 of Year 4 Lego 6860 Superheroes The Batcave

This isn't the biggest Batman set of 2012, but it is the biggest one that was on normal retail (as opposed to being an exclusive set).

#957 of Year 4 Lego 6857 Superheroes The Dynamic Duo Funhouse Escape

It's rare that we get a Joker set, but this is exactly what this is - a set based around the Joker... and to a certain extent the Riddler and Harley Quinn as well.

#956 of Year 4 Lego 6864 Superheroes The Batmobile and the Two-Face Chase

Catwoman, Joker... and Two Face are probably three of the most recognised Batman villians, and the Batmobile is probably Batman's most iconic vehicle.  Put them together and... well, it's not an iconic set ,but it's good nevertheless.

#955 of Year 4 Lego 6863 Superheroes Batwing Battle Over Gotham City

There is nothing new under the sun, and Lego is quick to popularise the standard Batman vehicles, because apparently Batman sells.  So this time around, we have a Bat jet, or Batwing (named after Nightwing perhaps?)
